Local AI and a faster editor
This update adds private on-device AI for naming and tagging your captures, and a faster editor.
Local AI
• Smart names, automatic tags and quick summaries for every capture.
• Runs on your Mac. Your image content is never sent to a remote model.
• Turn it off any time in Settings. Requires a Mac with Apple silicon.
Editor
• Backgrounds, frames, shadows and watermarks you can save as presets.
• Automatic zooms and 3D motion for screen recordings.
Capture and share
• Capture windows, areas or full web pages at any breakpoint, in light or dark mode.
• Share a link that opens in any browser. Viewers don’t need Snapdesk.
• Export PNG, JPG, MP4 or GIF in 20 size presets at 1x to 3x.
Library
• A single library with instant search, filed automatically. Requires macOS 14 or later.
