Snapdesk is a Mac app from Snapdesk Inc. (“we”). This policy describes what the app handles on your Mac and what leaves the machine.

Captures and project files
Screenshots, recordings, web captures, and backgrounds are stored on your Mac, in Snapdesk’s folder in Application Support. They are not uploaded to us unless you choose to share a link. Export saves a file you choose, on your Mac. Deleting a capture from the library removes that file from Snapdesk’s library on that Mac.
Preferences stay on the Mac as well. That includes capture settings, background and style choices, and export settings.
Web pages you capture
When you capture a web page, Snapdesk loads that page in an embedded browser on your Mac and captures what is on screen. The site, and any service that site loads, receives a normal visit from your network, including your IP address and cookies kept in that browser view. Snapdesk does not send the page contents or the capture to us.
Local AI
Snapdesk names, tags and summarizes your captures using AI that runs locally on your Mac. Your image content is not sent to a remote model for analysis. Local AI is available on Macs with Apple silicon.
When you start a trial or subscribe, Snapdesk checks your plan status with our payment provider. Checkout opens in your browser, and Snapdesk never sees your card number. Payment details are handled by the provider under its own privacy policy.
Updates
About once a day, Snapdesk checks whether a new version is available. That request includes your IP address and a standard app request. The app does not send a system profile. Downloading an update is a separate step.
What we don’t collect
We don’t collect your captures, contact list, or any image content. We don’t use advertising SDKs, and we don’t sell personal information.
How long it stays
Files and preferences remain on your Mac until you delete them or remove the app. Our payment provider keeps the information its own service receives, under its policy.
Your choices
You choose which pages to capture, which files to import and what to share. You can delete captures from the library, and you can remove Snapdesk and its Application Support folder to clear local files. You can turn off network access for the app in macOS; plan checks and update checks will then fail until a connection is available.
Children
Snapdesk is not made for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted with a new date. Continued use of Snapdesk after that date means the new policy applies.
